North Carolina Baptist Men of Honudras would like to introduce to you our bus driver, Jose. Jose came to work with us last April. He is married and has 6 children. Jose had been praying for ten years for a job. He is a volunteer bus driver at his church each Sunday. He drives the church bus to pick up over 110 children each week. He has a degree in Agricuture from a local university. But due to some hardships along the way he lost everything but found the most important thing of all: JESUS. Jose loves his Lord and loves serving his Lord. He loves to tell others about his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The excitement he receives when he finds out an evanglism team is coming words cannot describe. He also assists on the construction teams as well. He assists the Hondruans in the mixing of the mescalar for the houses. "Mescalar por favor" has become a nice way of asking for mortar please. And we all laugh when someone shouts "Mescalar por favor". To hear a bunch of Honduran men saying please on a construction site is funny. I suppose you have to be there. Jose has a beautiful testimony and also enjoys sharing how Jesus has changed his life and he gives God all the glory. Jose is a humble man with a gentle spirit. He is a compassionate and generous man who always puts others before himself. He gives 110% to his job and says he works for Jesus first the North Carolina Baptist Men. He was offered a job recently working for the city government in the town in lives in. He chose to stay with Baptist Men. God is good all the time. Jose is a huge assest to this ministry. He is a godly man and demonstrates it with all he comes in contact with. Thank you God for bringing Jose to North Carolina Baptist Men.
