After all the construction had been completed the home dedication was quickly approaching. Steve shared how we have worked hard all week and now it is almost over. Bittersweet time for all involved. They worked so hard to get the home completed to come to this place and time of finalization of the trip. It was a sweet service where Steve shared Matthew 6:25-34, Do not worry about your life. This family had been waiting quiet a while for a home. They lived in their prior home for ten years. God's provision is always perfect. They knew in God's timing they would one day have a home, a place where they will not get wet during rainy season and a lock and key to protect the family while their husband and father is working the night shift on his job. Once Steve finished the team and Hondurans placed their hands on the structure of the home while Curtis prayed the final prayer over the home. At the beginning of the week the first block was prayed over and now the closing prayer over the entire structure. Afterwards the entire group started singing in two languages "This is the Day that the Lord Hath Made", let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Thank you Virginia team for coming down to Honduras to work with us in the name of Jesus.
All God's people said AMEN!!!
"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Is life not more than food and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air, they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown in to the fire, will he not much more clothe you- you of little faith? So do not worry saying, "What shall we eat?" "What shall we drink?" or "What shall we wear?" For the pagans run after all these things and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first the kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."
Matthew 6:25-34
