The last two days the medical team traveled down a long dirt road to a precious community called Samaritano, Choluteca. Upon arriving there they found out the pastor was not there and would be there around 11:00. I believe Pastor Paulblino was working. PTL he had a job. But two ladies of the church were there waiting on us and we gathered together for introductions, devotional and prayer. Everyone dispersed and started setting up for the clinic. The doctors learned quickly everything would be inside the church. The doctors, pharmacy and Jimmy's evangelical group as well. There was standing water all around the church. So everything had to be inside. Where are tables was one question that had to be asked. The ladies of the church went to neighbors' homes to borrow tables for registration and for the doctors to work from. Dr Brad and Dr Brenda were able to share some one's dining room table as their work station. The two "B"s working together all for Jesus. Once again the team was ready to start their last two days of serving Christ. During these two days there was 276 patients treated. They had two salvations in this community. Bringing the total new brothers and sisters in Christ to 21. To God be the glory. On the last day they all were able to go walking around the community making some spiritual home visits. Tori shared how happy the people were to see them and to be able to talk about Jesus with them. Alot of these people were already Christians but there were a few who were not and would not receive the most precious gift of all: Jesus Christ. Please pray with us for the ones out there who are lost and do not know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thank you Coats Baptist Church for partnering along side North Carolina Baptist Men in sharing the medical and spiritual healing for the beautiful people of Honduras.
