Team leader, Gregg, shared how this was the nicest day in has seen in Choluteca the fifteen years he has been coming. God provided their first day with overcast and a drizzle of rain all morning. The new timers, Sandy, Corrine, Sam, Benjy, and Marie did not know how blessed they were having overcast clouds and even a drizzle of rain. The team started moving blocks, setting up the cornerstones, cutting blocks and sifting sand to get ready to lay Pastor Carlos' first block. The team came together and worked diligently taking pride in their work and enjoyed the beauty of God's creation which surrounded them. Everyone pitched in and did all they needed to do to get the job done. Team leader, Gregg, bragged and shared how proud he was of this team and how he was a little worried because of the number of men and women. He quickly realized God had provided him the perfect team and they were able to show him what team efforts was all about. The unity of this team was amazingly God sent. Thank you God for putting together such an amazing team to come do your work on Mt. Horeb. Gregg thanked God for his team and gave God all the glory for his provisions. They were also blessed with Hondurans who worked along side of them each day. As the girls said they were very patient with us and our lack of skills. But taught us well and lack of skills are in the past. This was a team with many different gifts brought to the table and they all used their gifts beautifully.
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms.
