Home for Angel, Maria, Javier, Wilion y Arley

Mike, Pastor Carlos and four Honduran men arrived this past week to bless this sweet but very quiet and reserved family a home.  Marie shared with Meida and me this was a dream come true.  She has been waiting for three years for dream to come true.  This week God took us up to Orocuina where the mountains are plush and green now along with a very beautiful ride through a quant community called Orocuina.   It took us across a brand new bridge which had not been long completed for our traveling pleasure this week.  Meida shared this bridge was built because of the swelling of the river during rainy season.  Angel, the husband and father of the home shared the so called road we rode upon turned into a river during rainy season.  Praise God for this week and this time for this home.  There was only a few drops of rain on the last day of the project.  We were all very blessed with good weather and beautiful view of mountains on every side of this project.
Angel and Marie were a very shy and timid couple but lit up when their pastor arrived each day.  I asked Angel one day how does he know Pastor Hector.  Angel replied with boldness for the first time, "He is our family's pastor".  "He is so good to us and has helped us through God get this home."  I met Angel and Marie with their three children three years ago after a week doing evangelism.  Pastor Hector asked us to come into one of the Sunday School classrooms to meet this family.  Sadly it took three years to help make her dream come true.  But grateful God is always on time. Angel who majetta's fields for a living and their oldest child Javier who works herding cattle provided their foundation for their new home.  This is a family who works hard together and radiates the love of Jesus Christ in their very own quiet way.
We want to thank Kristi from Grace Baptist Church for praying over the first block with the assistance of Meida.  Thank you Grace Baptist Church for providing this family their new home.  You were deeply missed but I am hopefully we will be together next year to do this together in person.
