Clayton Jase and Drew had a huge God moment after a week of hard work. After they returned from completing their project Saturday morning they got a huge treat. Pastor Carlos had arranged for five churches to come for praise and worship. While waiting for the church service to start on the soccer field these boys joined some Honduran children and teenagers into a game of soccer. God is so good ain't that right Clayton, Jase and Drew.
The team helped Mike and Pastor Carlos bring out the chairs from the multi-purpose building and carried them over to the soccer field. I was able to visit with people I had not seen in five to ten years. It was almost like a family reunion for Mike and I.
The team settled on the porch for Jase's devotional as the church started cranking up with praise music first. Jase's devotional this evening was right in line with a song they were singing at the same time, "Because He Lives". Jase had to speak really loud to get his message across and he did it humbly and with lots of grace. His devotional came out of 1 Peter 5:8-11 talking about the devil is out prowling waiting for to devour us all. But because Jesus lives we can face tomorrow. We can grow stronger in our faith all because of what Jesus did for all of us, He gave His life but He arose on the third day and because of this He Lives and I can face today and tomorrow and whatever the world brings our way.
Thank you so much "For Him" mission team for making this week so special for everyone involved and to end it watch over 250 people worshiping and praising our Lord.
