Praying Over First Block

After the cornerstones were in place and the mescal was mixed it was time to pray over the first block.  We gathered Wuilmer and his children together so they could place their hands on the first block of their new home.  This is a special time where was again we are praying.  We at this point which is around nine o'clock on the first day have already prayed three times not including our individual time of prayer.  So prayer is very important to those of us who live and work at Mt. Horeb.  We could not do our jobs here without the power of prayer.  Pastor Dudley asked Neal, a new comer to the team, to pray over the first block.  You could truly feel the presence of the Holy Spirit as Neal lifted up his prayer unto the Lord.  As Neal prayed several Honduran brothers and sisters were lifting up their prayers as well.  It was a Spirit filled moment for all you participated.  Each hand was placed on another person and each person was covered in prayers as we blessed and prayed over the first block.  Thank you Heavenly Father for the gift of prayer.

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people.
