The team dispersed into getting the four corners into place. Pastor Carlos and Mike helped the new team members lay out the corners. The four corners have to be precise and without error because this is what keeps the building from collapsing. In biblical times a cornerstone was used as the foundation upon which a building would be constructed. Once the cornerstone was in place the rest of the structure would conform to all the angles and size of the cornerstone. If the cornerstone would ever be removed the whole structure or building would collapse.
So we as Christians are built on the solid foundation of Jesus Christ our Cornerstone. If we do not have Jesus Christ as our Cornerstone in our lives we will collapse. We cannot function in life without a firm foundation involving Jesus Christ. So today if you are reading this and you do not know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and do not know what a firm foundation HE lays out for each of us who do believe I pray you will seek this precious gift, Jesus Christ, The Cornerstone of all who believe. All God's people shouted AMEN!!!
So this is what the Sovereign LORD says: "See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation; the one who relies on it will never be stricken with panic.
