Each day after lunch the men of the Salemburg team and the Hondurans went to the field across from Ms. Cristina's house for an intense game of soccer. Now mind you these guys have been mixing mescal and laying block all morning. They somehow drummed up enough energy for a daily soccer game. The teams were a mixture of North Americans and Hondurans. As you can see Mike was passing through only to observe the sport and I actually got one kick in as I was heading to VBS. This activity was totally separate from VBS. This was going on while the ladies were doing VBS everyday except the last day. The men got to participate in VBS. Good memories and relationships were built this week for all of this team. God is good.
