The only way to end an amazing week is with a Spirit filled Home Dedication. Mike thanked everyone for this week as he slowly turned it over to the team leader Mark. Each team member came forward and thank them for the privilege to serve beside them this week. First of all Pastor John step forward and shared from his heart and his favorite scripture 2 Chronicles 7:14, Terry stepped forward with a similar sentiment and his favorite scripture Joshua 24:15 and Dexter came forward and shared from his heart and his favorite scripture which was Psalm 37:3. Rodolfo was waiting patiently for his turn to speak and as he started sharing tears rolled down his wrinkled cheeks with tears of gratitude and praise to his Lord first and then to his pastor, then to Pastor Carlos and then to the North American team. Solina stood with a gentle smile and tears as well streaming down her beautiful and most precious face. Humbling is only one way to describe this moment. Humbling.
Team leader shared Proverbs 3:5-6 and presented the family with their bible. They all gathered around the home as we prayed a prayer of dedication led by Pastor Carlos. Afterward Tim did a very special and new idea with the family. He pulled out the keys and ask them to put their hands together. Tim placed the keys in the palms of their hands and then placed his hands on top of theirs and the team then gathered around and placed their hands on Tim's hands. Tim prayed one more time for this lovely and godly couple.
We all then encouraged Rodolfo to open up his new home and go in with his lovely bride Solina. They stood there with tears in their eyes as they welcomed everyone to please come into their home.
They did started singing How Great Thou Art and Because He Lives. Also they sang I will Praise You Lord. We got to get a prelude of what worship was going to be like on Sunday when Walter and Alaonzo sang for us. God is good all the time and all the time God is good.
