On October 1 one of two teams from Hamlet North Carolina arrived to Honduras ready to go to work for the Lord. They came spiritually and physically prepared for the task ahead of them this week. Thoughts were shared during God moments and devotion on the second night of how they were looking forward to how God will use them this week. Darryl's devotion on the second evening was appropriate for the week. Out of John 20:30-31 it reads that we may have life in HIS NAME. We need to be sold out for Christ. Second Baptist came to Honduras sold out for Christ. It showed in the work they did on Marclovia and Santiago Rodriguez home. They built this home as if they were building a home for themselves. The pride each team member took in their work was inspiring and amazing. One of the team members said isn't this what we are suppose to do. They came to Choluteca, Honduras to the community of Colonia Williams and gave God their very best. Benny Billingsley prayed over the first block on the first morning and from their God was in control of what was God filled week. One morning the team sang "When the Roll Was Called Up Yonder" to the Hondurans led by Freddie Jenkins and his lovely wife Anna Lee. Second Baptist of Hamlet was truly the hands and feet of Jesus Christ this week. Thank you once again for serving the Lord to your fullest abilities.
