During the first clinic the members of the mother and sister church held a time of sharing the gospel with the patients who were waiting to check in to the medical clinic. They were given the plan of salvation track and they were given the details of eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. During this time and place 18 people came to Christ. This is why medical teams come to Honduras. The people need physical help but they need Jesus Christ more. The medical team uses the medicine as their tool to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Fellowship with one another and the Hondurans is a big part of a medical team. The pharmacy was pulling in help as needed to prepare medicines for the patients. Everyone plugged in to make this week a success. Reggie had one very important job at the second location, San Juan El Corpus, he kept the dogs out of the church. Reggie finally had to get the broom after one of the dogs who repeatedly came back. The dog came in one door and Reggie moved it out the other door for the dog to do the same thing continuously that particular morning. We finally found out the dog's owner was being seen and so when the owner was completed with her examination she and her dog went home. Reggie's dog control slowed down after the lady left. Thanks Reggie for a job well done. There was a time when one of the pills needed to be broken in half and Derek was willing to work hard to get this task completed. Egla used the water jug to mix up some medicine for the pharmacy. Every single job this week was a vital tool of making this medical team successful.
"For God so loved the world that he gave HIS only begotten SON that whoever believes in HIM shall not perish but will have everlasting life." John 3:16
