We spent the last three days at Pastor G's home church in Santa Cruz. After the team finished on the second day they headed down the road to Santa Cruz where they sat up their next medical clinic. On the team was a young man, 18 years old named Travis. He wants to pursue the medical field once he goes off to college. Travis was able to assist Dr David with a procedure on a lady who had arthritis in her knee. Also Leroy, Ronda, Tommie, Hayden, James, Judy, Betty, Mitizi, Sharon, Maylon and Jeannie worked diligently those last three days on triage and in the pharmacy bagging up the meds. It took every one of them to keep this clinic up and running during those five days. In the morning before they leave out we would all gather and pray. But after lunch each day they gathered and prayed again for the afternoon. Dr. Jack shared one evening during devotions about the harvest is plenty but the workers are few. We are very grateful for each one of these folks who came to share their medical skills and other gifts God has given them to help our brothers and sisters of Honduras.
"When they had crossed over, they landed at Gennesaret. And when the men of that place recognized Jesus, they sent word to all the surrounding country. People brought all their sick to him and begged him to let the sick just touch the edge of his cloak and all who touched it were healed."
Matthew 14:34-36
