The Sullivan Baptist Medical team brought many different tools to run their medical clinic. The most important tool of all was God's word. Each and everyday the plan of salvation was shared with the people. As the doctor was seeing individual patients for their physical needs they were accessing their spiritual needs. One day Dr. David who is bilingual shared the plan of salvation with a patient and lead this man to Christ. It is so amazing how when we allow God to use us we can do anything. Thank you Dr. David for getting out of your comfort zone and speaking Espanol and bringing another brother into the kingdom. While the team was here to meet physical needs their sole purpose the entire week was the spiritual sickness of each and every lost soul in these communities. During the week there was eighteen salvations and many re dedications. The people came from miles to see these doctors to get some ray of hope in their lives. They were as young as 7 days old up to 91 years old. One day Mike and I were leaving the first location and saw people who had been walking for about five miles to get to the medical clinic. One lady came to the clinic who knew Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She asked the team to pray for her many lost family members. If you do not know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior today I pray this day you will seek someone and find out about our Lord who can not only heal us physically but spiritually as well.
