After a week of strenuous labor and still more to come, Mike cooked ribs, baked potatoes and slaw for all the workers on the ministry campus. I made some North American slaw and some sweet tea. The sweet tea was a huge success. God has blessed the ministry on Mt. Horeb with some very dedicated and hard working men and women. Each morning they are here at 7:00 AM and worked until 4:00 PM. They give it there all and do an amazing job. Mike stood before them after their meal and shared this could not all come together without God's help first. He gave God all the praise and honor and glory. Then Mike proceeded to thank each of them for their effortless work in helping bring everything together. He read Deuteronomy 4:9-10 sharing this is what a couple of pastors wanted to name Mt. Horeb. He gave a history of why we are all sitting here today sharing in this blessing from God. Mike and Ginger want to say thank you to everyone, God first, then man who made this dream we had come a reality. Our God is so big and all HE has done in the last three years on this ministry campus has been humbling and precious to watch each and every day. To God Be The Glory.
Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them fade from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them. Remember the day you stood before the LORD your God at Horeb, when he said to me, "Assemble the people before me to hear my words so that they may learn to revere me as long as they live in the land and may teach them to their children."
