There check list seem to continue to grow after every task. This team never complained but said we have to get this stuff done. One afternoon after lunch I look over and Joel is climbing up into a tree. Joel shared how he thought it necessary to have a bell to ring when meals were ready. So Joel found some scrape pipe and off he went up into the tree to hang the "dinner bell". Which I say works very well. The Hondurans go out to ring it each day for breakfast and lunch, thanks Joel.
Painting, paining and more painting is all our friend Derek did the last couple of days. He did it with a joyful heart and with a smile on his face. He worked ever so tediously on his paint job. He moved from the dorm up to the multi purpose building to start his painting on those bathroom dividers.
Team members Ron, Gorden, Joel and Phillip worked on the bathroom stalls at the multi-purpose building. This was actually not on the punch list of things to get done. So this task was a sweet blessing from God.
Rita joined in on the painting as well as Mr. Rodd.
Then you look out and half the team is piling trash onto the back hoe to be carried over to the trash pile to be burned. Another job duty we were not expecting these folks to carry out.
There was road repair on the main road in Pavana. Mike stopped one day to ask if they would be willing to come and do the road coming on to the ministry campus and up to our missionary house. As you can see by the picture this was done as well. This was an added perk to our to do list of things we were not expecting to get done.
Our blessings continued to these folks boarded the plane to go home. They did not stop until they had to eat or go to bed.
"His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!'
