We had the privilege of getting to know these two gentlemen this week. They brought laughter and joy to cutting their blocks to order each day. They worked along side of others who pinched to help as well. Heather and Andie helped knock out the loose nuggets of blocks and made a pile for them to use later in the week. Sherman and Steve we could not have done it without you two this week. God knew when he ordained your team you guys were going to bless many folks this week. You did it with such joy. This is a hot and smoky job but not once did either of these young men ever complained about the task God had given them. They had the perfect location to be able to watch the activity on the project from afar but yet they were still close at hand. Sherman shared how he was inspired by Juana's excitement over her new home and how humbling it was to watch throw her arms up to the heavens thanking God for this new home. Steve was humbled by how they accepted us immediately feeding us, giving us the right hand of fellowship and loving us from the beginning. Yes we were building them a home with a lot of there help Sherman shared but we were North American strangers and they took us in as family. By the second day we were all family working for the same Lord for the same cause, Juana's home. Pastor Dudley's devotional one evening touched on this. We came to Honduras to be a servant and rightly we did, but we have been so blessed by them. Juana's brother, Sobrino, asked Pastor Dudley did he know Jesus of Nazareth. Are we that bold in asking a stranger or anyone for that matter if they know the Jesus of Nazareth? Thank you Sorbino and family for showing us Jesus this week.
just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."
