We are now on Day Four second job site where they are serving and learning how to treat the medical needs of others. Dr. Charlotte has this young lady, who is around 16 years old, and she is trying to warm up to her with small talk. The young lady was shy at first but finally came around. There were numerous students observing Dr. Charlotte as she examined this young lady. Dr. Charlotte left James and Monica to assist with the rest of the needs for this young lady and grandmother. Cassie had the privilege to assist in examining the godliest lady around, Pastor Amado's lovely wife, Anna. She can radiate any room she steps into with her beautiful smile. Dr. Carlos was off in a room taking care of the needs of whoever came his way. He was available if Dr. Charlotte needed him. Dr. Charlotte got blessed with a couple of home visits one in which she and Monica were talking to the patient through the translator Gabby. The lady was laying in a hammock at the ripe young age of 114. Yes you read this correctly she was 114 years old. She was absolutely precious in every way. She told Dr. Charlotte she was fine except for a few aches and pains from aging. Oh my goodness, what a spirit this young lady had. Dr. Charlotte shared how she was surrounded by her family who took great care of all her needs. This is something everyone learned here is family will take care of their family. They are there for each other. This little lady is getting the best care you could ask for and her spirit definitely shows it. Dr. Charlotte walked away knowing family is an important component to a healthily life.
