Dr. Miguel has been multiple to Honduras to serve with Campbell Medical Team. This year is was blessed to bring his son, Zach. Zach was an astounding young man who loves the Lord as well as his father. They sat together every afternoon on the first step of the multi purpose building sharing thoughts together. I do not know their conversation but they we spending time together talking and being together. Every day they did this building on a relationship which a text message or an email could not touch. We touched on this several times this week about making time for each other and talking and simply being together in person. These two gentlemen got this daily. They came together to the pulperia daily laughing as they said who is buying today. Dr. Miguel loved his banana drink and Zach got his coke. This is a true gift from God to be able to go on an international mission trip with your father and with your son. They made memories which will last them a life time. Zach triage and shadowed his father throughout the medical clinic learning all he could from his father and others. As I watched them this week it reminds me of how great are God is to be allowing some of our God moments to appear right before our very eyes.
But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD."
Joshua 24:15
