Mike and I left Los Delicious to travel about two miles down the road to another community called El Ero Blanco. We arrived and I started out in the PT room which was the place to be at the time I arrived. Susie Danielle touched many hearts with her visit to the medical clinic. She started out first in PT as they learned she was 18 years old but only looked like she might have been 10. When she was three years old she was in a hammock and somehow got banged up against a concrete wall which did tremendous damage to her motor skills along with many other issues. Dr. Marge cried with tears as she shared how Kristi assisted Susie in making her first step in a very long time. The icing on the cake so to speak is when she was given a pen and paper and for the first time in her life the PT taught her how to write. She drew hearts on the paper. This team has all the reasons in the world to be proud today for all the accomplishment they allowed for Susie to improve her quality of life. While Dr. Marge and Jared worked on more exercises for her to do while Kristi with the help of our translator Carlos work on some exercises to help her strengthen her motor skills. What a gift from God today this young lady received because three people said yes to our Lord to come and serve here in Honduras.
