Walls up, roof up, floor down and mescla mixed

Once again FBC Raleigh with the combination of many years coming worked diligently to get these 800 blocks, 50 bags of cement and five days of labor turned into a gorgeous home.  Royce and Eddie did a fantastic job with the roof.  Brad, a new comer, Rick, Rachel, Jose, Jeremy, Alexis, and Kevin, Alexis' brother mixed the mescla.  Greg, Brad, Alexis, Dennis, Rhonda and Kristen worked on the floor.  Unbelievable sight was when the final touches were done to the floor and I see Brad sweeping up the excess on the floor as Pastor G stands back and watches.  I shared with Brad how this was always Pastor G's job and how beautiful it was to see him doing it.  Brad said it was an honor to do such a task.  This was a God moment for me.  Brad carried it out the back door and swept off the back steps of the house.  During the week Kristen and Rachel shared how they were impressed with how Alexis worked so hard on the back of his home to get the seams just right.  But no one would even see the back of the house.  Rachel and Kristen quickly learned this is where they would wash their clothes and take their baths.  This back side was just as important to Alexis as the front side.  The beauty of the backside is while they are washing clothes or themselves they will be surrounded by the orchard of fruit trees.  What a beautiful sight to embrace daily while doing your chores, enjoying God's splendor.  All God's people said AMEN!!!!
