A New Beginning

Oakdale Baptist Church came to Choluteca, Honduras on more than a mission to build a home.  The home owner, husband and father did not know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.  So before embarking to Honduras this team was praying diligently for Noa who needed a physical home but he needed a spiritual home so much more, ETERNITY.  So using the tool of building a home the team came covered in prayer and saw Noe transform in five days to a man who trusted them and came to love the foreigners who embarked on his world as he lived it on a daily basis.  This was a far cry from his day to day activities.  Oakdale came in with love for Jesus Christ which radiated this place we called the end of the world.  This was literally the last home on the road they traveled.  This lot was surrounded by God's creation of mountains, green fields and cattle grazing.  What a beautiful spot to see and feel the presence of Jesus Christ.  Noe has a lovely Christian wife named Ingris and they both have five precious children.  The team never got to meet the fifteen year old son, Marvin.  Marvin went daily to the market to find work unloading vegetables and fruit from the vendors selling to the market.  Marvin makes $6 a day to help provide for his family.  We found out later Noe does the same but took the week off to build his family's home.  When we first met Noe to inform him of receiving a home he was almost lifeless.  I shared with Mike I sure hope this guy will help build his home when the team arrives.  Noe transformed each day to who God had called him to be a godly leader of his home.  It was amazing to see the transformation which took place in his life this week.  Did he accept Christ?  Well keep reading the blog and find out the rest of the story.

"Rejoice always, pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks, for this is God's will for you  in Christ Jesus."
I Thessalonians 5:16-18

Prayer Continues as we prayer over the first block

As with each team we gathered around the first block as Noe listened to Boo pray for this home which God has provided for him and his family.  Boo prayed this home would represent Jesus Christ throughout the community as a beacon shining all around.  We each connected by touching each other to start our week as one in Christ Jesus.  God's grace and mercy shown all around this area of Choluteca, Honduras on this day and this week.  God is good all the time, all the time God is good.

"Pray without ceasing,"

Thank you my God for two Honduran brothers

Sometimes we have projects where the churches have few men in the church.  This particular church was one of those.  The team worked diligently on mixing the mescla.  They all took turns even Pastor G to get the job done.  But our God is an awesome provider all the time.  God sent Ezekiel and Reuben our way to help the team mix mescla so they could place 800 blocks into a home.  Jose's words and I quote, "Salvation".  We were all very grateful and thankful when these two young men showed up to lend a huge helping hand. Once they arrived the team got right on schedule and placed the five courses up before the day's end.  Thank you my God for all your provisions.

"And let our people learn to apply themselves to good deeds(to honest labor and honorable employment) so that they may meet necessary demands whenever the occasion may require and not be living idle and uncultivated and unfruitful lives."
Titus 3:14

Walls going up and walls breaking down

Each and every day the team was right on schedule with the walls going up , doors and windows going in, roof going up and floor going down.  Tony was impressed with the two middle daughters learning how to fill in the joints by watching the team.  The entire family pitched in to build their home.  They wanted sweat equity as well as the team.  There was a lot of sweat equity this week.  One day was a scorcher.  Heat beat down on the team as they had very little shade for relief.  This is a true parellel to what Hell will be like if we do not have Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.  There will be no relief no way of getting out of the burning fire of Hell.  I am so grateful for Oakdale's desire and obedience to share the gospel throughout the week with Noe.  As he worked closely with each team member this week he saw Jesus all around him.  Even in the scourching heat.  The team perservered in the name of Jesus.  They never gave up on building the home and on sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with Noe.  Jose, our bus driver played a huge roll in Noe's decision.  As the walls were going up, Noe's lifeless walls I mentioned earlier in the blog were breaking down.  The team continued to pray throughout the week for this one man who did not know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.  Dan shared one day how he enjoyed the bonding over the five days with all the Honduran men.  Susan shared how everyone was so receiving of them.  There was a true since of community with this little corner of the world.  Walls were going up and language barriers were coming down as well as the unsure walls of our friend, Noe.  At this point in the story he still has not become our brother.  We must keep praying for Noe as the week continues to unfold.

"For He himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility."
Ephesians 2:14

Five crosses and a cross necklace

Kaye Bullock's husband Thomas brought five courses and one necklace he wore around his neck.  Thomas laid the five crosses on the dining room table and shared how each one of these crosses need to find a home somewhere this week.  Kaye took one and placed in the frame of the door.  Boo took one and gave it to the oldest daughter, Cidys, 13 years old.  Thomas shared that by the end of the week he wanted the cross around his neck to go to a new Christian, brother or sister in Christ.  So we prayed for each cross to go to a believer or a new believer.  Once again a tool used to share Jesus Christ with a lost and dying world.  Thank you Oakdale Baptist for building more than a home.

And He said to them all.  "If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily and follow me."
Acts 17:11

Three families came to serve

North Carolina Baptist Men continue to send families here to serve the people of Honduras.  Dan came for his first time last year.  Dan went back home and signed his lovely wife, May, to come back with him this year.  Tim and Taylor returned once again to work side by side all week.  The team leader Kaye and her husband Thomas returned to serve side by side in the name of Jesus Christ.  Thank you for coming and sharing Jesus' love with our beautiful and amazing friends here in Honduras.

"As for me and my house we will serve the Lord."
Joshua 24:15

Sharing more than a home

The team set aside time to enjoy the children and adults of Honduras.  A couple of days they were able to break off and a few of them went to the church to share in a VBS for the children.  The tree sitting in the chair was done on the last day, one for the church and Oakdale took one home with them.  Each child and adult place their finger print onto the canvas to represent tree leaves.  They played soccer and just enjoyed some good ole fellowship and laughter with Boo under the shade tree.  May had a captive audience on the last day as they shared love for one another.  As we always say the home will get built but the relationships are what is most important.  We always take a little of Honduras home in our hearts.  This folks are so easy to love and continue to love.  Thank you God for placing Honduras in all of our lives.

"Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it."
Romans 12:5

The rest of the story

As the week came to an end, many prayers were answered.  As you can see in the pictures above, Noe is wearing the cross necklace Thomas brought down.  Noe accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.  So as the team dedicated the home and Kaye shared if we build the home without God the labor is in vain.  Noe built is home and found Jesus Christ in the process.  Thomas presented him with God's word, book of instructions on how to live a godly home.  Cidys, Noe's daughter will hopefully read God's word to Noe on a daily basis as he grows in Christ.  We now can call Noe our brother in Christ.  Tony did an amazing job presenting the key to the family and sharing to Noe how he now has Christ Jesus to follow and lead his family.  Tears were shed on this day.  Tears of joy for this man now has more than a physical home he has a spiritual home here on earth and mostly in Heaven one day.  Thank you all who participated in God's plan for this time and place this week to put this beautiful smile on a face of a man whose life was once lifeless.  If you are reading this today and you do not have this beautiful smile of joy, JESUS CHRIST, I pray you will break down those barriers which are keeping you from coming to completeness which only comes from receiving Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.  Life is too short to wait and say maybe another day.  Today is the day, a new beginning in Jesus.  The angels were singing and dancing in Heaven when Noe gave his life to Christ.  Let's have more angels singing and dancing.  Thank you first of all God for providing this team at this time to come and share the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Thank you Oakdale Baptist for coming and answering the calling to be obedient to doing God's will here in Choluteca, Honduras. All God's people said AMEN!!!!

Ten Salvations on this construction team

This team was able to build a house do two days of VBS and lead two people to Christ.  One was Noa, the homeowner who Jose and Thomas with the help of Meida talked and shared with each day.  The team called where they were sitting in the above picture, Pastor Jose church under the tree.  This is where Jose and Noa sat each day and shared.  Jose shared his personal testimony with Noa and shared how they had similar backgrounds but the difference between them now was Jesus Christ.  Jose shared with him how he could have undescribable peace if he had Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.  After Noa made his confession of faith in Jesus Christ, Thomas gave him the cross necklace he had worn all week.  Thomas shared with him how he was praying for this necklace to go to a new believer.  Someone who needed Jesus Christ in their life.  We praised God today for Noa making the most important decision of his life.  While all this was going on Boo was reaching out to a 15 year old young man named Jonathan who carries the world on his shoulders.  Jonathan's mother is seriously ill and the team actually went to her house one day to pray with her.  But during Boo's time with Jonathan he was able to share the gospel and how he can give all these worries to Jesus.  Put them at the cross and let Jesus take care of him and his mother.  Jonathan also accepted Christ this week while helping build his neighbor a home.  Cidy was one of the ones who received one of the crosses.  As she was going to church on Sunday she showed me the cross which she held tightly in her hand.  Thank you Boo for sharing God's love with Cidy and Jonathan this week.  During worship service on Sunday there was eight other people who accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior.  The angels were singing and dancing in heaven on
this day.  Thank you Oakdale Baptist for doing more than building a home here on earth.  Through God's leadership you built on to the kingdom of God.  And all God's people said AMEN!!!!!!

1Thessalonians 5:9-23  Was shared by Boo on his night of devotional and God moments.  I encourage us all to read this and take heed of what it says in our daily life.  Encourage one another and build each other up.  Just as Jesus did for us when HE died on the cross.  He gave HIS life so that we could have eternal life.  Go and share God's word and His plan for our salavation with anyone you know who does not know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

Praise the Lord

Oakdale opted KFC and Wendy's this year.  They decided to end their week with a quiet afternoon at the mission house.  Dan and Meida cooked fish and fried green bananas for a late afternoon lunch.  Kaye and Boo made some North Carolina slaw while us Hondurans ate chismoe with our fish.  The team even provided good ole sweet tea.  This was a nice way to end a week full of hard work.  Thank you Oakdale for coming back once again with the spirit of servanthood.

Welcome New Hope Baptist Church Youth to Choluteca Honduras

Pastor Brian Lockamy after many months of preparation with the youth of New Hope Baptist Church arrived on July 24 to build Pastor Martin, Hilpolita and their five children a home.  The project site is nestled in a corner and dead end of a dirt path.  There was shade trees along the fence area where Hilpolita immediately placed hammocks and chairs for the team.  The hospitality this Honduran family shared the first day was nothing new in terms of how people are greeted when they arrive in Honduras.  Sheri Knight shared how beautifully the Hondurans exhibit true hospitality.  As the team was unloading the truck, Hilpolita brought out a linen table cloth and gingerly placed it on a wooden table for the team to secure their water bottles.  Everyday has been this way for New Hope Baptist Church.  Pastor Martin is a humble, kind and compassionate man who is a strong leader in his home as well as the community.  There was an out pour of help from the church, the mother church and the sister church of Pastor Martin.  God blessed the team each day with a unusual breeze under the shade trees.  Always on the first day we pray over the first block and all the family and friends gathered around Pastor Martin and his family as 16 year old Jackson prayed willingly over the first block.  The leadership the entire youth group took on this week was simply amazing.  Thank you Pastor Brian for your strong leadership and preparation for this amazing week here in Honduras.  God is good all the time!!!!

"The end of things is near.  Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you can pray. Above all love each other deeply because love covers a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling.  Each of you need to use whatever  gift you have to serve others as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks he should speak as the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do it with the strength that God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To Him be the power and the glory forever and ever AMEN."
I Peter 4:7-11

Youth are our future

The center picture of Brian's shirt says it all.  I Timothy 4:12 mentions we are never to young to serve the Lord.  We do not need to let others tell us just because we are teen-agers, pre-teens or even younger we are too young to serve our Lord and Savior.  This week  New Hope Baptist Church Youth group exemplified true Christian service in their words and their actions.  There was nothing each one of them did not try to do.  They all pitched in and worked as a team as they were working for Jesus Christ and not man.  There was some new friends this week, welcome to Marrah, Kaitlyn, Jackson"Braxton", Jason and Mrs. Pam.  The former team members helped teach them how to lay block, mix mescla and set up the cornerstones.  The entire week was a group effort.  So please do not let anyone tell you this job is too big for you.  This past week you each proved how awesome and powerful our God is because HE used each of you to glorify HIS kingdom here on earth.  These young people built relationships while building a home in which they will treasure their entire life time.  Thank you to all the young people who heard God's call and accepted HIS call to come and work beside these beautiful brothers and sisters in Christ.
Also thank you to Cameron Place who was the New Hope Baptist Church college intern for the summer.  She did alot behind the scenes and in the for front to help get the job done.

"Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set the example for the believers in speech, in love, in faith and in purity."

Leads by example

Pastor Brian Lockamy leads by example.  He prepares the team throughout the year to come to Honduras to serve the Lord.  Some of his guidelines and preparations for this trip are intense.  But these young people come on board willing and ready to take on the challenge.  There is not any outside communication with home accept one phone call to let their families know they have arrived.  I asked Brennan how he did all week without his technology, etc.  He said I have come accustomed to Pastor Brian's technique and it works fine for me.  The group interacted with one another and played games in the evening.  They enjoyed sharing and laughing with one another.  He requires the entire to team to read their manual and be prepared to answer any questions thrown their way.  The team is required to write a personal testimony and be prepared to share at a minutes notice.  Pastor Brian challenges these young people physically and spiritually to prepare them for this mission trip.  Also, on their last night together he shared how their testimony they wrote before arriving had now changed.  They needed to sat down before going to bed and re-write their testimony.  Because after such an amazing week they now had a new testimony.
As well as all his guidelines, Pastor Brian got on the job site daily working on whatever needed to get done.  His young people took good care of his physical being.  They watched over him as he worked along side of them.  The relationship he has with these young people is one he has earned because of his Christian example.  He does not require anything of them he does not do himself.  Thank you Pastor Brian for leading such an awesome group of young people.  Their hard work throughout the year by your example was evident this past week.  To God be the glory for all things this week.

Las Bloque Mueres

We all had a place on the job site.  As the last day appears their is less and less for the team members to do on the house.  Mrs. Sheri, Kaitlyn and her younger sister Madison handed the blocks up to the guys on the scaffolding.  Mrs. Sheri carried the block to be cut according to the need and returned to pass it along to the guys up top.  The three ladies had their assembly line going and kept the boys in business for pretty much the entire morning.  It takes all of us to make it work.  We all have our different gifts from God.  We just have to be available and willing to do whatever God has for us to do on any given day!!!  Thank you ladies for following where God wanted you to be on the last day.

"Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves."
Romans 12:10

Welcome Dr. C and Mrs. Pam

We were blessed to have our Pastor and his wife with us this week as two of the adult chaperones.  Thank you for taking the time to come down and build lasting relationships with the youth of New Hope Baptist Church.  Pam worked very diligently daily beside her husband and shared in the memories of an amazing week.  Pam is a veterinarian and Jose enjoyed his time talking with her about how to care for the cattle and other animals of Honduras.  It is always so awesome to see husband and wife come to share in the kingdom work of Honduras.  Pastor Ricardo and Mrs. Pam were always eager to serve wherever needed. They also led the young people by their example of Christian leadership.  Hopefully they both will return again one day and share in the building of relationships here in Honduras.

Much more than building a home

The group came down challenged with more than building a home.  They were asked to spend time in the Word daily and journaling their activities of the day.  They took to the task as a pleasure not a chore.  They each would find a corner of the world for quiet time and basted in God's word and putting their week into words on paper.  Also, they were very generous in bringing down items for baby bags, school supplies and hygiene kits.  They worked several evenings assembling the different items in the bags so they can be taken to the local hospital and local schools.  Thank you for your generosity.  After working all morning on Pastor Martin's home, the North American young men and the Honduran young men took on a challenge of futbol.  Well some things never change the Hondurans once again were the winners, 4-1.  Maybe next time North Americans.  We keep trying to beat the Hondurans but they very humbly walk away from the futbol field winners every time.  They do walk away with a slight grin on their faces.  God is good all the time, even when loosing at futbol.

"Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ:
Who being in the very nature of God, did not consider equality to God something to be grasped,
but made Himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness,
And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient, to death- even death on a cross.
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name above every name
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God our Father."
Philippians 2:5-11

Feliz Cumpleanos Madison

Madison came down for her second year and to once again to celebrate her 17th birthday Hondurans style.  Thank you Madison for choosing to come and share with us on your special day.  Jose walks in and remembering last year with the eggs on the head, Madison was a little concern what Jose was up to.  But no it was not Jose this time but our dear little sweet and innocent Egla who plastered two eggs over Madison's head.  Thank you for the sandwich bag which the eggs were in for Madison sake. Cameron was on it all week to make sure we got Madison's birthday cake.  We always enjoy celebrating team members birthdays here in Honduras.

Worshiping the Lord on a friend's front porch

Four years ago we built a home in this community.  There is a huge cow pasture at the front of the community.  Four years ago, a man who owned the cow pasture allowed our team to do VBS.  He was not a Christian. Well four years later, we go to Pastor Martin to tell him he is going to recieve a home.  While visiting Pastor Martin and Hipolita he asked would we like to go see where he and his community were worshiping.  So of course we jump in the truck and he shows us where to go. Four years later we arrive at the cow pasture.  Pastor Martin is woshipping in the same cow pasture we had VBS at four years ago.  BUT the man who allowed us to use the cow pasture four years ago is now a Christian and has given the cow pasture to the church family.  So we arrive on Sunday morning thinking we were worshiping in the cow pasture.  I have to admit I was a little disappointed.  The man allowed us to worship on his front porch of his home.  People came for all around to worship the Lord this breezy Sunday morning.  Braxton, Sarah and Cameron shared their testimonies as Egla translated.  There was another miracle around us this week and this was our friend, Freddy.  Freddy almost died a year ago in a motorcycle accident.  Praise God he was at the job site daily and he sang to us one day during lunch and he led the music in church on Sunday morning.  Pastor Martin is a sister church to Pastor Pedro in La Jero Blanco.  The two churches may only be three miles from each other.  But this is a blessing for all the people living around the cow pasture.  They do not have as far to walk to church now.  God has blessed them with a godly pastor and a place where they can worship closer to home.
Pastor Brian shared a sermon on from Matthew 14:22-36.  Brian touches on the part where Peter walked out on the water and not that he starting sinking when he got scared but the fact he got out of the boat to walk to Jesus.  Peter got out of his comfort zone, got the courage up and took great risk to try to get to Jesus.  Do we get out of our comfort zone for Jesus?  Do we have courage when Jesus says come to me?  Do we take great risk in the name of Jesus?
Our first step out of the boat is when we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and  Savior.  But like Peter we will have great risks to take and there will be stormy days.  But like Peter "Walk on Water" experiences when we are close to Christ and have the faith, pray and act on our faith in Jesus Christ.  When Peter sank Jesus reached out and took his hands.  Can you just imagine Jesus' hand reaching out to take Peter's hand?  Jesus wants to reach out and take our hands too.  He wants to lead and guide our every step every day.  He wants us to totally relay on HIM for all things in life, whether it is a life storm or just every day stuff.  Where is God giving us the courage to get out of our boat  and where is HE leading us?

My challenge to you is to read this passage as Peter getting out of the boat one of courage.
Matthew 14:22-36

We could not do this week after week without our brothers and sisters of Choluteca, Honduras

Each week God blesses us with our Honduran brothers and sisters ready to serve us at any cost.  They are the most giving, godly examples of who Jesus truly is.  Thank you cannot even touch how much you all mean to us.  Your endless ways of serving the Lord first, us and even each others is such an example of Jesus Christ.  We love you and appreciate you more than any words could ever describe. Thank you for just being you!!!!

Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man shall not live by bread alone but on every Word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.'
Matthew 4:4

"Let the little children come unto me"

Brennan up rising senior of the team finished his second year with us here.  One night during his devotion he reflected on the children.  His scripture reference was out of Luke 18:15-17.  We are a witness to the children.  We need to lead by example.  Our lives should reveal the very life of Jesus Christ.  As he and the rest learned throughout the week they learned alot from the children of Honduras.  When the children were singing at the church on Sunday out in the cow pasture they were singing from their hearts.  Do we get excited in church when we are worshiping God?  Do we show the enthusiasm these children did on Sunday out in the cow pasture? Sarah always attracts the children wherever she goes.  Her quiet spirit magnifies the little ones. Marah was able to speak the language so she and Kelby talked about the differences in each others country. Jackson made a friend named Daniel who welcomed Jackson into his home for a visit.  Daniel and Jackson were able to share bible stories they knew together with the help of one of our translators Egla.   Jason worked beside Henry all week long.  Jason learned Henry was 12 years old and does not go to school.  Once they finish the 6th grade unless their families can afford to send them on their education is finished.  Jason learned also what a hard worker Henry was.  When the children were blowing the bubbles Henry was steadily at work helping to build his friends a home.  On the last day after the house was complete I caught Henry blowing bubbles.  He was finally able to be a child for a little while.
While all the bubbles were being blown Rachel, Madison and Egla were next door sharing the gospel with neighbors who were not Christians.  They were able to share the plan of salvation with three  people.  They did not accept Christ that day but the seed was planted.  They now know and will be accountable one day for their decisions.  We never know the hour or the place when our time here is finished here on earth.  I hope those who are reading this know Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior.  Hopefully these three people will read God's word provided by Rachel, Madison and Egla.  Thank you ladies for taking the time to share Jesus with others.

"People were also bringing babies to Jesus to place his hands on them. When the disciples saw this they rebuked them. But Jesus called the children to him and said, "Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you anyone who does not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it."
Luke 18:15-17

Then he said to them all, "Whoever wants to be my disciple, must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me."
Luke 9:23

Celebration of a new home

The last night before we dedicated the home Sheri did a visual devotional.  This is not the first time we have had teams wash the disciples feet.  The timing here was so beautiful.  Sheri shared out of John 13 how Jesus washed the disciples feet.  As we sat in the dining hall by candle light only and observed each other washing our friends feed, all I could think of is this is what Jesus did.  Jesus washed his disciples feet.  This was a humbling and serene moment in time.  Pastor Brian then asked how did you feel washing your friends' feet.  Some of the answers were quiet interesting.  But the one which stood out the most with me was someone shared they did not feel worthy to have someone wash their feet.  We are all worthy of Jesus.  Thanks be to God for loving us and caring for us as HIS children. Thank you Sheri for such a beautiful visual of Jesus, a true servant.
As the morning passed there was alot going on.  Floor going down and roof going up.  Over in the kitchen area there was ladies cooking a big pot of chicken soup.  As the team gathered together to dedicate the home of Pastor Martin and family the youth took the leadership in the dedication service.  Several read scripture, Marrah and Kaitlyn who are bi-lingual were able to read the scripture in Spanish from a bible.  Jackson presented the family with their bible.  Jason and Rachel presented the key to the family.  The entire team sang "Sanctuary" to the family with Kaitlyn doing a solo.  After the dedication the family shared some words.  Pastor Martin thanked God first then thanked God for his brother Pastor Pedro who turned the solicitation in for Pastor Martin's home.  He  thanked the three different churches who came out to help him build his home and then he thanked the North Americans for taking of their time to sacrifice time from their families to come to Honduras to build this home.  But the team learned very quickly they had not sacrificed anything compared to what the Hondurans had sacrificed on the last day and that was five of their own chickens out of their yards to feed the North Americans.  Several families in the neigborhood gave a chicken to help feed the 40 plus people there on the last day.  This is true sacrifice.  As the North Americans ate the chicken soup all they could think is would I give all I have to feed someone else?  Would I sacrifice everything for Jesus?  What a profound statement?  Do we, do I sacrifice all I have for Jesus?  Thank you Pastor Martin family and friends for once again teaching what it is to be a true follower of Christ.

"As Jesus looked up he saw the rich putting their gifts into the temple treasury.  He also saw poor widow put in two very small copper coins. "Truly I tell you, he said, this poor widow has put in more than all the others.  All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth, but she out of  her poverty in  all she had to live on."
