Welcome Old Friends and New Friends



Mark, team leader, comes back again for about his 8th trip to Honduras to serve his Lord.  This year he brought back some old friends, David, Dexter, Diane and Terry.  But we had some new friends jump on board Jerry, Jarod and Chris.  They all represent two different churches but came together as one this week and became a family.  They all pitched in immediately with their different job assignments.  We are forever grateful to Diane and Jarod who got up each morning at five am to prepare breakfast for their team.  Cute story by the fourth day they had the breakfast prep under control where they were able to stand on the back porch of the kitchen and watch the sunrise behind the mountains.  They took time to be still and enjoy God's beautiful creation.  Terry assisted Mark daily in the making of the sandwiches for their team mates.  David was up there as early as Diane and Jarod making the Gatorade and water daily. Down the hill after breakfast, Dexter, Christ, Jerry and Jarod loaded the Kia for Pastor Carlos and Mike.  Everyone was willing and able to pitch in to head out each day to many many blessings. Before heading out Mark shared a devotional and had someone pray up their journey ahead.   Great start to a great day each and every day.



God's Beauty



Let this journey begin.  The team traveled about one hour to their project in a quaint little town called Orocuina.  They were surrounded on both sides of the road with lots and lots of rolling mountains.  God provided us with an amazing traffic jam with a herd of cattle who would not move.  So Pastor Carlos gingerly led the way through the herd as Tino followed right close behind.  As they traveled they saw okra fields on both sides as they came closer to Orocuina. 
But as they entered the quaint town they saw folks busy with their days as they passed right through the middle of the market place.  People were busy selling their produce.  The hardware stores were busy at work.  Everyone was hustling around selling and buying goods from the local venders.  Jarod shared one evening how this place was always hopping.  The simplicity of this view daily of how they go each day to the square where the vendors are set up to buy their basic needs for the day, not the week, but probably for the day God has given them is humbling to say the least.  They are blessed though to be able to buy fresh produce each day to go home to serve to their families.  They are blessed to live in a community where there is work in the okra fields to be able to go to the market to provide for their families.  This community is abundantly blessed to have all they need for each day God has given them.  This team was blessed each day to be able to ride along and see the many blessings in this beautiful place called Orocuina.





Oh NO!!!


As we arrived at the project site Mike and I came upon a complicated order.  Pastor Carlos was struggling to get the Kia with all the supplies up an embankment onto where the project was located.  Everyone unloaded and Pastor Carlos tried again to get up the hill.  After several tries he made it.  After Pastor Carlos successfully got up the embankment it was Mike's turn.  Needless to say the bus parked in front of the church.  We never know what challenge God places before us each week with each project.  But we take the challenge and figure out what is best for the situation and move forward.  As we always say God has got this and He always does.  God is faithful and true to His Word.  We just always need to trust with our whole being.  God has got it.



The Sanches Family


Today the team from North Carolina was introduced to their family God gave them for this year.  Please let me introduce, Isaac, godly husband and father, Vilma, devoted wife and mother and their son Marcos.  We gathered around them as they were awkwardly shy but very grateful for each one of the North Americans and Hondurans who showed up on this very special day for he and his family.  He gave God all the glory for this week and how he had prayed for this day to arrive and how he knew God would be faithful in His timing.  Mike introduced Mark, team leader.  Mark thanked them for allowing his team to come along beside them to build their home.  He then  asked his team to introduce themselves before we opened up with prayer.  Dexter opened us up in prayer as Meida led in translation for the Hondurans who were circled up hand in hand with their new friends from North America.  The beauty of God's creation all around us that morning with a slight breeze passing through showed me how awesome God is and how beautiful this week was going to be for all of us. What a beautiful community called Orocuina where this team will be forever blessed.



The Block Station and More



This small team of eight jumped in and got to work after introductions.  Immediately team leader Mark saw the need to move the blocks out of the foundation into the block cutting station.  So formed an assembly line and starting stacking up 160 blocks for cutting for the first two days.  Mike needed a volunteer to do this task because of pulling out his back the day before.  Chris stepped up to the plate and learned how Mike wanted the blocks cut.  Mark helped knock out the nubs in the blocks to use later in the week to fill in the fifth and tenth course.  
As the block cutting crew continued others pitched in to unload the doors and windows off the truck.  The sand was being sifted for the first batch of mescal for the first block.  Diane watered down the boards preparing the boards for the mescal. There is so many different little jobs needed to just get ready for the first block.  Pastor Hector who is so much more capable to do a more intense job was sweeping off the foundation to prepare it for the first layer of mescal and blocks.  Thank you Dexter, David and Jarod for unloading the doors and windows.  Thank you for everyone bringing your first morning together so smoothly.



Best Friends Serving Together

Speaking of being blessed this team was blessed with not only Pastor Carlos but his long time friend Pastor Hector.  Pastor Carlos was excited when we shared with him to do this house up in Orocuina where is friend is Pastor of the church.  Just like Meida and Tino we are doubled blessed with this godly man serving with us week after week and never waivers from his calm and serene demeanor.  Chris and Jarrod both shared how we could all learn from how Pastor Carlos carries out his daily life.  Pastor Carlos first of all starts his day still and in God's Word on the most beautiful view of Mt. Horeb, his porch.  God blessed him with the best view of all and of course he definitely deserves the best of all because this is what Pastor Carlos does each and every day give God his very best.  Chris asked does he do this with every team? Does he lead every construction team throughout the year?  My answer was yes sir.  His behavior never waivers.  He is always just like you see him.  If he were to say ay ay ay then we know there is a problem.  But very seldom do we hear those words part his lips.  Truly there is not anything eternal to our dear servant of God, Pastor Carlos.  Mike and I learn from him daily how to live out a godly life in a way pleasing unto our Lord.  What an example this quiet servant is but if you ever get to hear him preach from the pulpit, get ready because he can bring it on and bring it with boldness like you have never heard before.  The Holy Spirit kicks in and he shares his love for the Lord with an elegance of power and strength.  Thank you God for Pastor Carlos and his commitment to YOU first and then to Mt. Horeb.




Water Girls


Praise God for Diane and Meida who saw to it the seven plus men on this project stayed hydrated.  They took their jobs very seriously.  Until you get dehydrated you truly do not understand how important the hydration specialist job truly is.  Diane went every thirty minutes to offer the gentlemen a cold water or Gatorade.  They did not even have to leave the project unless they specifically needed some time to chill for a bit.  A thirst for something good and cold on a very hot day in Honduras is a true blessing because so many here cannot get clean water to drink.  So our teams who come through weekly it is a privilege to get fresh cold water every thirty minutes from a lady who truly cares about their well being.  We are grateful for Diane and her service to her team this week.  Thank you Meida who as well took care of others on her team this week.



Preparing the First Block


Jarod jumped in and helped Luis and Hector miss the mescal for the first batch for the first block.  It takes all this hard work prior to the first block to get that corner ready to lay the first of 800 blocks.  They have to sift the sand and then carry it over to the pile to begin.  It takes a certain amount of sand and two bags of cement per batch and at different times.  Both bags of cement do not go down at the same time.  There is a certain amount of water that goes into the mixture and Jarod shared how these boys knew exactly what they were doing.  This team was very blessed to have these two young men, Hector and Luis helping their friend and family get a home.  They worked each day for a nice hot lunch from the kitchen of Ms. Martha.  Neighbors helping neighbors down here is surely what we can take back home with us.  If I am not mistaken Mark, team leader, shared his church family came through for him in a crunch recently.  Grateful to see others helping others and doing it simply because they love them.  What a gift from God folks.  Receiving a blessing is one of the hardest things as North Americans to do, but when you simply don't just let someone give to you and receive it you are stealing their joy and blessing.  These boys worked very hard this week for a hot meal each day but what a blessing it was for Ms. Martha and for these young men to serve and receive a thank you from Ms. Martha.  Ms. Martha was blessing all of us this week as you will read later in this blog.  She was one busy lady and did it with abundant joy.  



The Cornerstone


The North Americans gathered around the four cornerstones to learn how to level each of them for the week.  Chris shared how Pastor Carlos is one awesome godly man who works quietly but works by example.  You can watch his labor and learn quickly what he expects from him just by his examples.  Tino who only gets paid to drive pitches in especially when there are a lot of new folks on a team to help his friend Pastor Carlos out on the corners.  Of course Pastor Hector, long time friend and a great construction man as well was right there pulling his weight.  I love how Jerry and Jarod pitched in on those corners to help get this project moving.  Everyone was pulling their weight the first morning on getting ready for the first block.  The cornerstones are a crucial part of this project.  They have to be level and sturdy for the job ahead.  Their job is most important to hold up the strong foundation with 800 blocks and 50 bags of cement.  Pastor Carlos takes a lot of time to make sure the beginning of this home is ready for the rest of the week.  Just like Jesus Christ is our Cornerstone who holds us up and keeps us strong so are these cornerstones important for this new home.
God is good all the time and all the time God is good.



Sanches First Block


Once the team arrived they had no idea unloading the Kia with all the tools, after cutting block, sweeping off the base and mixing mescal it would lead to a very important part of their week, praying over the first block.  I always ask, "Where do you want the first block Pastor Carlos? "  This time he pointed to a corner of the house nearest Issac' mother's home and the church.  I thought this was quiet interesting to lay the first block facing the direction of the church where this precious godly couple and their son, Marcos goes to church several times a week worshipping and serving their Lord.  
We gathered around the block as Issac, Vilma and Marcos laid their hands upon their first block.  The team, family and neighbors all laid hands upon them and others as we united as one in Christ Jesus to dedicate this week to Jesus Christ.  We were blessed as Terry prayed a prayer of praise for allowing his team to be a part of such an important week for this family.  He prayed God's will on this home and the future for this family.  Thank you Terry for praying from your heart unto our Lord and God bless your life Terry as well.



Lesson in Laying Honduran Block


Mark, team leader, asked Mike could he give a quick lesson in laying block the way the Hondurans want them to. Mike gathered around the team and he proceeded to demonstrate how to lay the mud and not to be stingy with the mud but to put enough so when the block is placed on the foundation it will have a nice bed to lay on and secure the next block which comes.  Mike shared the blocks should be a thumb length apart and you need to make sure it was level with the string each time you place a block down.  Mark, team leader, shared laying 800 blocks could get boring after doing it all day but with this project the foundation was a little off so it made for a challenge in certain locations on the foundation at the beginning of the block laying.  Every project is so very different and some foundations are level and some not so level.  This foundation was so so and the team was able to figure out how to make sure it ended up level.  Good work to all of our new friends who learned how to lay block with the help of Mike.  Jerry, Jared, Diane, Terry, Chris and David all stood and learned very quickly how to do this and they all did their very best and should be so proud of each and every individual block they laid during their five days on the project.



Quick Learners

After Mike's Block 101 these guys went to work and got their first five course up in due time on their first day in Orocuina.  They partnered up with another team member and one laid the mud while the other laid the block to perfection.  They worked hard on making sure the joints on Issac and Vilma's new home were as if they were building their own home.  This team took great pride in their work as they all endured some heat issues.  But these fellows did not let it pull them down.  They trudged right along working for their Lord as this is what they said they came to do, build this precious family their new home.  They were very understanding laying the blocks and mud Honduran style as well not like they are use to in North America.  When you come to a different culture you adjust to many things and become quiet flexible and do it the way the people of the country whom you are visiting.  This team did just that.  They worked along side Pastor Carlos and followed his lead in all details of this house becoming a home.  God is good all the time and all the time God is good.



A Important Decision


Women will be women no matter what culture they live in.  First of all Pastor Hector asked Issac where did he want the door. Issac went over to Vilma and asked her where she wanted the door.  I sat back and watched this unfold right in front of my eyes.  She went to one end of the house foundation and looked and then came back to the other end of the house foundation and stood back an pointed here and there and everywhere.  Finally after about ten minutes of studying the base she made a decision of where to put the two doors in her home and also the windows.  Vilma took this decision very seriously on how she wanted her home to look in the end.  I was quiet impressed with how much thought and questions she also asked Pastor Hector.  Issac finally went on back to work and left Pastor Hector with Vilma to make the final decision.  As I am writing this isn't this how all our decisions in life should be the big ones and the little ones with much thought and seriousness.  We should not rush through life and make haste decisions about anything and we should especially seek the guidance of our Lord Jesus Christ on all details of life big and small.  Because God gave us all we had and it is His to start with.  Amen y amen.




Isaac


The head of his home and godly man Issac carries a beautiful smile upon his face as he watches his house becomes a home.  Issac's solicitation is two years old and I have to say he waited very patiently without complaining on why it has taken so long for us to come through with a team for him and his family to receive their home.  Issac instead with a grateful heart thanked God first for a prayer answered on receiving his new home and for the North American team who God chose this week at this time.  The team assumed Issac was not a skilled construction worker but he did get out there and watch and learn what he needed to do to help build his home.  He sifted sand, mixed the mescal and did whatever he could to help the team along with the project.  Issac is a godly man who is involved in his community church along side his wife and son Marcos.  The community also loves and respects Issac and his family by coming along beside him building his home.  We can learn so much from the life of Issac and Vilma as well.  They are quiet folks but with a genuine heart for their Lord and for the people in their community.



Diane Was a Blessing


Meida got reunited with a friend who came about four years ago.  Diane was the only lady on this team but she worked hard as the rest of them.  She put a lot into keeping her boys hydrated each and every day.  She even removed a stump which was on the pathway to the block cutting after she saw me trip over it.  She was always putting others before herself.   She trusted Meida's lead on what to do on the project with what is culturally the correct way of doing things.  Meida and Diane were a good team. She saw Pastor Hector sweeping the foundation the first morning. Once she saw Pastor Hector doing this task she knew this was something she could do and let him move on to bigger and more intense projects.  She took the time to help Ms. Martha in her kitchen by making the tortillas several days.  Diane was a willing and able servant this week.  These young men were very blessed to have her along to take good care of them.



Pastor Carlos' Assistant


Our new team member came with a willing heart to serve wherever he was needed.  Mike brought to my attention on the first day by saying look who is Pastor Carlos' assistant. Our new friend Jerry.  Jerry pitched right in and handed Pastor Carlos the blocks as needed.  Jerry could not have picked a better person to partner with as our very own Pastor Carlos.  Actually these two young men are similar in many ways.  They both have a gentle spirit about them.  These two are genuine in their walk with the Lord.  Jerry has a love for the birds of Honduras as does Pastor Carlos.  Pastor Carlos sits on his porch reading his Bible early in the morning and enjoys the sounds of God's creation all around him.  He enjoys the quietness of Mt. Horeb and so does Jerry as he shared with me one morning how beautiful Mt. Horeb is and how close to God he feels by being here.  Jerry did an amazing job one evening sharing from God's Word out of Matthew 5 with "The Beatitudes" and comparing them to the Honduran people.  Jerry shared how he could in vision Jesus walking amongst these beautiful people as He did in the days of the New Testament.  What an amazing analogy of Gods Word in comparison to the way folks live here in Honduras.  Mike and I feel as if some days we are living out the Bible while out and about visiting or working in our thirty plus communities.  God has blessed this ministry and I am grateful Jerry got to experience a little of this beauty while he was working beside us here this week.



Meida and Tino


Thank you God for our staff who supports us in all God has called us to do here in their country called Honduras.  They are so faithful to their commitments to their God first and then to this ministry.  We can count all both of them for whatever our needs.  Meida only gets paid to translates for the team but yet you see Meida doing so much.  She is always watching out for the North Americans when they do not even realize it.  She is willing to help get that first block laid by assisting where she sees a need.  
Tino only is a chauffeur and he as well goes beyond his call of duty here for this ministry and his God first of course.  Tino is always watching the bookbags hanging on the fence as well as Meida.  Tino is always watching what is going on around the project not necessarily on the project sight but surrounding areas.  He takes his job very seriously and yes he can have fun, but his job always is to put the safety of the North Americans first and foremost.  God has truly blessed us with each of these fine people and Mike and I never doubt their judgement calls on any incident. They are very reliable and God we are forever grateful for each of them.  Meida and Tino are our angels here on earth.



Do You Like Okra?


Each day this team makes it way about an hour on a road leading to their project in Orocuina.  As they travel each day they pass by acres and acres of okra being harvested at this time.  There are some fields where they are replanting but a majority of the fields have lots and lots of okra.  Interesting story behind the okra is the Honduran people pick this okra for about eight or so hours a day for about $5.00 a day in pay.  Yet they do not eat the okra themselves.  It is all exported to the United States for selling in our local grocery stores.  It is humbling for me because I love to eat okra when I get to go home to visit my family.  I honestly did not understand how strenuous and hot this job of picking okra is for my friends here in Honduras until I rode by the fields not once this past week but three times I experienced the labor which goes into my bowl of friend okra at the local restaurants.  The black structure is an area of shade for the workers where they share in cokes during their breaks.  Mike says it is made out of some type of pipe used for construction work.  They recycle everything they have here to use for their better.  We assume they pick by the pound according to their $5.00 pay per day.  Next time you eat okra remember those who work in 100 plus degree weather probably seven days a week just for our enjoyment of fried okra or stewed okra, just remember please you are also helping feed one of these workers family as well.  Because if they are picking okra they are working a job which is also rare in the country of Honduras.  Employment rate is quiet high here.  So thank you everyone who eats okra which could be exported right here in a town called Orocuina.


Learning to Cook






This week Diane was blessed to learn how to cook Honduran style and make tortillas as well.  Ms. Martha is one gentle spirit who I believe we all learned a lot from this week.  She took time out of her businesses of life to teach Diane her secrets to her delicious meals.  Diane was able to enjoy sopa de res on one of her lunch breaks.  What a blessing for Ms. Martha to give back to the team in such a special way because the team is providing her son a home and this is her way of giving back to them.  How humbling it is to receive from Ms. Martha her very best and it was so delicious as well.  We can learn so much from our Honduran brothers and sisters in how grateful and giving they are with what they have.  Chris asked me a question one morning over breakfast about their lifestyle and how they are content with what they have and he saw the joy in them with their lives more so than us as North Americans.  So basically Chris' question was answered by Chris.  We may be building a home for Isaac, Vilma and Marcos and this is truly not a sacrifice for us as when Ms. Martha gave a bowl of soup to Diane as a huge thank you for helping her son get a home.  What a blessing Ms. Martha was to Diane this week as are all the Hondurans.  We come to bless them but we leave more blessed by far.  Simply by letting them bless us with their best.
On the last morning of the project Diane got blessed one more time with the final touches of making tortillas with Ingrid.  Diane shared Ingrid finished up what Ms. Martha started in the class of making tortillas.  Diane and Ingrid made enough so everyone could have them for breakfast with their potatoes and eggs.  What a yummy finish to some amazing breakfast this week.

Worship With Our New Friends


We gathered together on Sunday morning with greetings and singing of many praise hymns.  We were blessed, Mike and I to be reunited with Pastor Hector, his lovely wife, Narya and their three lovely girls Vivian, Raquel and Verenice.  Vivian was only nine the last time we saw them and now she is a young lady helping lead the worship hour. Raquel was the age of Verenice the last time Mike and I saw her.  Now they have one more little angel, Verenice. Pastor Hector is so proud of all his ladies in his family. After photos with family  Pastor Hector made his way to the pulpit to welcome everyone in the house of the Lord.  He especially welcomed and thanked the North American team for helping Isaac and Vilma get their new home along with other homes built in this community.


We started out the service by reading Psalm 34:1-4 which was read in English by Ginger and in Spanish by Pastor Hector's wife Nayra.  Sister Lorianne came forward and let the congregation in "When the Roll is Called Up Yonder".  Well then we got truly blessed when Sister Martha came forward and sang numerous praise hymns from the Holy Spirit which dwells inside of her. Jarod, team member shared during the devotional that evening how he was inspired by Martha's singing which he said came from her heart.  She was bold in her love for Christ which he could be that fearless with his witness for the Lord. She shared with Jarod she did not do this at all it was all done by her strength which only comes from God.  She claims Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength."  Amen y amen!!!!


Pastor Hector at this time introduced Pastor Dexter to bring the message for the day.  Pastor Dexter opened up with prayer.  Meida then read in Spanish 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, Ephesians 3:20-21 and Philippians 4:19.  There are many promises in the Word, says Pastor Dexter.  As Christians we have a claim on us.  In John 10:10 it says "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy." God wants us all to have joy and peace.  There are three promises from God's Word I want to share with you today through the Apostle Paul that is for you and for me.
1 Thessalonians 5 says we need to pray without ceasing.  It is what Christianity is all about, no matter how big or small we are to present everything to God in prayer.  We need to tell Him but we also need to listen to Him first and foremost.  God will speak to us through our prayer time with Him. God will reveal what He wants from us each day when we take the time to be still and be in His Presence. Often we tell God what we want to do and He can join us if He likes.  If it does not going according to our plans then we get discouraged. God speaks to us in four different ways, the Bible, Prayer, through church events and other Christians.  Prayer is a conversation with God and it is God's will for our lives to be obedient.  God wants to hear from us, He wants this personal relationship with Him.  God teaches us how to pray through the Lord's Prayer.  God knows our future.  Peter and Andrew followed Jesus.  Jesus made them fishers of men.  God equipped Peter and Andrew to be fishers of men instead of just fishermen.  God can equip you and I the same to serve Him where he places us to be in His Will. Out of Philippians 4:19 God says, "I will meet all your needs."  How rich is our Jesus?  He is the richest and most blessed gift we will ever receive.  There are promises from god.  Out of 1 John 4:8, 16 "God is Love".  He does not show love He is love.  God wants what is best for all of us.  My life in Christ has been blessed.  I want the same for each of you  Joshua 1:25 says "I will never leave you or forsake you".  Will we have hard times yes we will.  But God is always with us every step of the way. God never said it would be easy but to us what is impossible is possible with God.  God works through His people.  Jesus fed the 4000 with two loaves of bread and five fish.  There was leftovers.  God equips and provides for us to do what He has called us to do.  We simply just need to be available and willing to serve HIM. Ephesians 3:20-21 says "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations for ever and ever amen." We do not think in God's terms.  Our thinking is way too small.  Yet we have the same power as Jesus did while he walked on this earth.  But it is only for those who know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior who have received by the blood He shed on the Cross for our sins.  These can be called the children of God and have the power of the Holy Spirit dwelling inside of them.
Serving our Lord is our greatest responsibility.  Matthew gathered in Gailee with the Disciples and asked them who do they same I am?  Some say you are Elijah, some say John the Baptist, some say a prophet.  But who do you all say that I am, Peter spoke up and said "You are the Son of God". As Christians we have the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven.  We plant the seeds only and we watered it only but God is the only Harvester of the fruit..  God can also help us through our problems. We can stand under HIM in our times of troubles.  As Pastor Dextor closed he shared his favorite bible verse of all which is the very bible verse team leader Mark shared the first night. Psalm 37:1-4.
Pastor Hector reflected back on the sermon and challenged his church family to pray pray pray for their church families, their community and most of all their country.  Pastor Hector paused and did just this, prayed for the country of Honduras and all the turmoil this country is going through right now.  He prayed God is the only one who can give us all total peace in such unsettling times. During the Sunday School hour the children learned bible verses and recited them for us after Pastor Hector's prayer.  The best part of the service was when five children and young people accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.  Amen y amen.


Pastor Hector shared afterwards the church was providing a snack for everyone, tamales.  Oh my goodness what a special treat along with a hot cup of coffee, Honduran coffee, that is.  Vilma, future home owner and Pastor Hector's wife Nayra prepared them on Saturday and Vilma cooked them up on Sunday morning to serve after the worship service.  This church family served at least 75 people today a very tasty snack.  Everyone was humbled by this taste of hospitality from this church family.  Grateful for a lot of the children today who might have gotten their only meal.  This church family reaches out to their community by meeting physical and spiritual needs each time the doors open.  Well done good and faithful servants.




Free Mount Horeb Entertainment


God's creation has definitely blessed the ministry of Mt. Horeb. Of course our sweet Lassie who has been with us five years and has loved and blessed so many North Americans who enter the campus.  Lassie lost a dear friend of five years about a month ago named Oso.  Now God has brought Oso Dos into her life.  Lassie is not too sure about this little fellow but one evening when Diane Chris and I were coming down the hill from devotional with Lassie following we came upon Manuel and Oso Dos.  We all stopped and stood back to watch what unfolded.  Lassie went up to Oso Dos and smelled him up real good.  Bounced around a little and followed my on home.  Another day Lassie gave Oso Dos a big lick on his puppy belly. So these two are slowly getting there.  Some of the team members wanted to meet the horses so each evening as Rudy was bringing them in from he pasture next door those who were out there got the privilege of meeting Titone and his very pregnant mother, Carolina.  God has truly blessed us with these animals as we sat back on the porches and watch their everyday activities.  Also the most important fun of all is on the porch of the multi-purpose where we have regular corn hole championship games.  Rudy and Bryan one the first game and Naun and Ginger won the second game.  This corn hole game is one of the best investments on this ministry campus.  We are grateful to be able to laugh and have fun and loose all at the same time.
