The team gathered on the porch to meet the ladies of the community who had put all this together which made their week coming in such an easy task. Please be mindful this community has never had a medical team come here before. The principal of the school shut down the school and orchestrated all the events for the week. She had lined up women to cook for the Hondurans helping the medical clinic. The entire week was prepared out to a tee by the Honduran folks. They took so much pride in their new found friends and guests for the week. They gave the North American a round of applause which we also have never had before. It was a very humbling experience on that porch the first morning of our stay in La Castana. They opened up their community with open arms as the medical team introduced their team members and Dr. Brenda. Dr. Brenda was their healing angel this week and they were very blessed and excited to have all of us up there in their community. Please never take for granted how blessed you are and always I say always give God the glory for it all. It was God's first and He is so gracious to share it with us. Thank you God for all your many blessings you provide on a daily basis.
