Enjoying Pulperia de Mt. Horeb

It does our heart good to see teams come over to the pulperia porch to hang out and share about their day.  They come buy a soda and do a little shopping but more than that they sit and talk.  It makes me think of how years ago families would sit on their porches and visit with one another and share important bits of information from their lives.  There was not any cell phones or iPads to distract this time of fellowship like there is these days.  There was checker game being played one day, Anna and Sarah eating their traditional coconuts each day on the pulperia porch.  On Sunday afternoon Travis pulled out the guitar playing and everyone sitting there with him sang along with Travis.  We did our last devotion of the week on the porch of the pulperia and gift shop.  This was a very special place this week.  We enjoyed the sunset finally after many days of rain.  We were grateful to God for such precious moments like these this week.

so we cared for you. Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.
1 Thessalonians 2:8
