We gathered together with Orlin, Fanny, David and Anna Lee. Team leader, Ron, asked his long time friend and brother in Christ, Gorden if he would deliver the prayer of dedication over the first block. Everyone's heart melted when David and Anna Lee placed their tiny fingers upon the huge concrete block and looked up like we are ready to pray. They knew exactly what to do as everyone gathered around touching the family and reaching out to touch others in their circle of prayer. God's spirit was in our presence this morning as Gorden prayed a most profound prayer of blessings for the family, all the volunteers and his fellow team mates. He prayed for all our safety as we worked side by side during the week and how this block was the beginning of a home for this family where God will reside with them to help them grow as a Christian family. Tears of joy streamed down Orlin and Fanny's faces as they walked away from the beginning of their new home which they had waited six years to get.
And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
