Each time Coats Baptist comes to visit us in Honduras what do you guys need is there first question. I told team leader Danny to ask his lovely bride what Mike wants. Well Katie could not come this year so she put Anita in charge of Mike's surprise batches of chocolate chip cookies. As Anita was preparing her first batch of chocolate chip cookies there came up a huge thunderstorm. Any one who has been to Honduras during the rainy season knows these thunderstorms can be massive. So guess what, yelp you are right the power goes off while Anita has two batches in the oven. I shared with Anita they will be okay because they were almost done anyways. So about ten minutes later the power came back on. Anita got back to working on the last batches of cookies. They got finished I believe for the power went out the second time and stayed out for about two hours. But during the power outage everyone was enjoying Mike's chocolate chip cookies. I believe Mike wanted to share but not all of them. Anita finally took the last twelve and put into a container and gave them to Mike to take home. Thank you Anita for pouring out the love of Jesus over a batch of chocolate chip cookies. Our staff got to benefit from Mike's chocolate chip cookies as well.
A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.
