Mike and I would love to welcome back Perry Creek Church. They are our first team of the year and we are so excited to get started back up on our eleven years serving here in Honduras. The group of seven came with prepared hearts and lot of energy to build a family a home. They entered Monte De Horeb on Monday afternoon exhausted from their long day but prepared to enjoy the culture and beauty of Honduras. They gathered each morning in prayer to start their journey of serving their Lord. At the end of their days they enjoyed sitting on the gift shop porch or dorm porch reflecting over their day. This team was small in numbers but all had large hearts and persevered in some very scorching hot days. They never once complained but gave God all the glory for their energy level and their protection each day. Team leader Joel shared one evening how it is much more difficult to come here in the winter than summer because we have to acclimate our bodies from cold to hot weather. But how God always provides all we need each minute of every day. To God be the glory for Perry Creek Church and how they worked together this week to provide a precious family a home.
