Pastor Chris Hawks is truly the hands and feet of Jesus. There is not one not even one he cannot relate to. It does not matter the age or the gender Pastor Chris allows the Holy Spirit to use him wherever he is needed. The entire week I observed him with the children and then he would be talking with the Honduran pastors with the help of Egla. There was one time he and the Honduran pastors were discussing theology of the bible. He expressed how he would love to be able to speak their language where he could really set down and discuss all things with them. Pastor G and Pastor Chris connected even with the language barrier because they were united with a common bond, Jesus Christ. This did not deter their time of sharing. The shortest member of the team, Pastor Chris was the one up the highest on the house laying blocks and putting on the roof. It is so beautiful to see pastors come here and get dirty in the name of Jesus. Thank you for setting such an awesome example for Second Baptist Church of Hamlet.
