Nimia's Pilla

 
The surprise of the pilla and bano was like Christmas time for the family.  Last year we visited this empty lot with grass knee deep and branches scattered everywhere I could only imagine what the property was going to look like on the first day.  Six months ago there was nothing on the property but the debris.  The family built  a latrine at the back so the team could go to the bathroom and a hut shelter with shade for them to retreat to for their siesta time.  The family was pleasantly surprised to find out the team was going to place a pilla right next to the hut shelter.  This process took Bubba, Gregg, Michael, Anna, Boyce, Pastor David, Cody and Orfilio and I am sure others to produce the look of gratitude on Nimina's face.  This picture I captured of her looking inside of the pilla was not the first time she walked over to look at her pilla.  I imagine she was envisioning how she will be able to wash her family's clothes and dishes.  She will now have a place to bathe each day.  All the things of everyday life we take for granted.  God has blessed her with more than she had prayed for.  This is how awesome our God is if we only trust and have the faith in His mighty power.
