Salemburg Baptist Church serves in San Pedro Su, Choluteca

God blessed us once again as Carol Adams shared with a perfect fit.  Salemburg Baptist Church team and Ms. Berta, her son Orlin, daughter Carol and younger son, Daniel.  The chemistry was of the Hondurans and North Americans was priceless.  The team arrived promptly at 7:45 with the smiles of Berta and family eagerly awaiting these strangers but soon to be new found friends.  God blessed us that morning first hand with a devotional shared by one the team's younger members, 19 year old Harrison.  After the devotional we prayed and worked towards placing the corner posts.  Once the four corner posts were in place and the first batch of mescla which was mixed by Orlin, Ken, Ray, Jose, Billy, Douglas, Harrison and Jim the prayer over the first block was shared by Pastor John.  This was a very emotional time for all involved.  Ms. Berta is a widow of four years.  She lost her husband due to a work related accident.  God truly blessed Ms. Berta on July 2 when Salemburg Baptist committed to God to serve through NCBM in San Pedro Su,Choluteca, Honduras.  Berta shared she had prayed for four years for God to give her a more secure home in which to raise her three children.  God answered her prayer this week.

"Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, 'Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?'
And I said, 'Here am I, send me!'"
