This was a beautiful time watching how strong Digno, Esmaira, Nanzi, Olman and Sandra were in working side by side to get their home built. They all pitched in mixing mortar(mescla), cooking tortillas and meals for the Honduran workers. They all pitched in and did what they could to help the North Americans. They all took such pride in their new home. It was a true blessing to work beside such a special family. When Olman had to go to school to take the test, Nanzi and Sandra got out there to help mix the mortar(mescla) with their father. Esmaira spent the entire morning along beside her mother, Francisca cooking breakfast and lunch for the workers. One morning she came out during the teams break and served each of them a nice cold cup of coco-cola. Sondra shared what a refreshing treat to receive outside of the water and Gatorade. It gave the team a little boost to keep on keeping on. This family exemplified what true hospitality means. Thank you to this precious family for teaching us so much this week. We were blessed as much as you were.
