The children is one of the biggest reason this team comes to Honduras as with probably all the rest of the teams. The children are so loving and so much fun to just be with. They are adored with the most amazing big brown eyes and beautiful smiles. They love you so unconditionally. Thank you God for the gift of children. We are so blessed to be able to love and share time with them.
The team was blessed on the next to last day with a big bowl of seafood soup. This is a very special treat for us as well as the Honduran workers. The people here in Honduras always give us their all. They go beyond the work hospitality. They invited the word hospitality. Thank you Colonia Unidas for being so gracious with what God has given you. We love you!!!!
During the week the team as I shared in earlier blog met some mischievous little characters. One day Pastor G chased them and tied them up like they do iguanas down here. One of the little ones was not too happy when this happened to him. So Mike Greene had an idea to do this to Pastor G. So Mike Greene and Chuck chased Pastor G and tied him up just like he did those little fellows. Well this made the one little fellows day to see the same thing happen to Pastor G that had happen to him. All work and no play does not make a happy camper. The team truly enjoyed their time of rest and relaxation during the week with the children as well as for each other.
