God graciously got us all to the point of laying the first block with Marcela and Alison after all the small obstacles were removed and replaced with genuinely godly folks. Maida, our translator, asked for everyone to gather around the foundation where Pastor Carlos gingerly laid the first block for Marcela and Alison. Pastor Randy proceeded to pray as we all gathered together as one in Christ and united with a gentle touch on one another's shoulder and presented this home to God and gave him all the praise and honor and glory for all things He has done for each of us standing around this block. This one block represents the foundation of this home to be used as a refugee for Maricela and Alison. Marcela can now open her home up to her family and friends as they have done for her for the last four years. She will be safe and dry and can spend some good quality time with her sweet Alison as she grows up to become a godly lady just like her mother.
