After church on Sunday team came home to get ready for the week ahead.  Tracy , Pastor Brian and Mike as the assistant hot glued over 120 crosses together to get ready for their VBS session this week.  Butch sat back and enjoyed the delicious pineapple for his evening snack.

There was two days of VBS.  Pastor Brian and Tracey prepared the materials for these two days prior to coming to Honduras other than the crosses.  The first day they did the salvation story and each child made a bracelet.  Tracey would ask them questions about each color and the children knew the answers to all her questions.  It was very obvious this church family well educates their children about God's Word.  The second day of VBS they each colored their own wooden cross and Tracey shared how we are suppose to take up our cross and follow Jesus daily.  There was a total of 78 children who got excited about being in church and participating in the many activities provided for them.  God is good all the time.

 

 

These little ones brought much joy to Tracey this week.  She shared how genuinely they loved her a complete stranger in their community.  Their hugs and laughter this week was definitely Tracey's God moments many evenings during devotionals.  She loves children and very quickly came to love these beautiful little blessings from God.
