This group was able to do VBS for four days. There location was right next to the home being built. Each day they provided singing led by Maida as the children gathered. The ladies did a skit daily for the children in reference to their bible story. They were given a craft for each day. Their bible stories was one being "Fishers of Men", "The Good Samaritan" which they included the children in this skit and there was one on the plan of salvation where they made a picture frame with the plan of salvation glued to it. One child said he was going home to nail it to his wall to keep forever.
The entire team met nightly to help the ladies with their preparations for the next day. After supper on the last night, team member Lynn was getting ready to get up to go prepare for VBS and looked sadly and said we are finished. These weeks of serving in Honduras go by way too fast for the teams as well as for Mike and I. These folks put a lot of effort into their VBS each year and the children here reap the benefits of their hard work. The children will have memories for years to come hanging in their homes of this week. Thank you ladies for all your hard work.
I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.
