Jennifer, our first timer, came prepared with three days of VBS with two to three different stations to go to. Maida started out the day with music until the group was formed with anywhere between 30 to 50 plus children in attendance. They started out with music then led into the bible story skit. They broke up into groups to go play with the jump ropes, Frisbees and soccer. While they were playing others were doing their craft. One day Juan Carlos shows up for VBS after a morning of working in the fields. Juan Carlos is a nineteen year old Christian young man who loves the Lord and his community. He assisted us the first few years of building the families a home. I discovered one day while visiting his home he is quiet the artist. His mother's home was covered in his art work. So it did my heart good to see him coloring a picture from the bible story. Such a godly young man. The women enjoyed VBS as much as the children did. They enjoyed the singing and coloring of pictures each day. Thank you Jennifer for the time and effort you put into each day of activities for these sweet folks. Thank you also for being very flexible the day the mixer joined VBS in full force. Jennifer had to share songs and story with the help of the mixer going around and around. Thank you for showing Christ like attitude during this bit of an opportunity. It was never eternal and Jennifer' s witness showed this by her humbleness during this time. Job well done Jennifer and ladies who helped.
Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
