What an amazing week in the house of our Lord. This team turned a church sanctuary into a medical clinic who also administered to spiritual needs as well. Will shared his God moment was Dr. Terry praying over his patients. Dr. Terry shared one evening how sometimes we cannot help the patient. There is not anything we can do for the gentleman who is deaf and partially blind. We can pray for them. God is our great physician. Dr. Terry said instead of praying after we helped a patient this should be what we do first pray with them and then see what God has in store for the doctor and the patient. Dr. Terry along with Kat and Amanda blessed many lives this week. They graciously listened to each patient and their concerns with the help of Meida and Douglas. There was a continuous flow of patients passing through their stations daily. God provided the patients needed to fulfill each day to completion. God is faithful in all things He is so faithful.
Dr. Terry took his lunch break three different days to make home visits. One gentleman was bed ridden at a very young age of thirty one and with the help of Physical Therapy was able to do something for this young man. John shared how one patient had an UTI for four months. The patient could not afford the medicine so they just suffered through it. John shared how he complained when he gets a headache. We need to be grateful and John was grateful this week he could give back to others but in return get more blessed than he blessed them. Our God is so mighty.
The first night team leader, Bill shared how we are all in the healing business. In the bible there are lots of names for God, "The Lord that heals" out of John 9. In the days of Jesus the people thought if you were blind or deaf it was because of some sin in your life. Well we should all be blind and deaf. Because we are all sinners saved by grace. The Pharisees ridiculed Jesus for healing on the Sabbath. This week as you go out please let the people see Jesus in each of you. Bill said he prays that for each of his team members. They see Jesus in the way they care, treat and love on these beautiful people. Thank you so much for caring about this country and coming here to share Jesus love with them
