What we will do for our children no matter how old they are. Stephanie's second day on Mt. Horeb I heard her and her Dad say they were going to climb the rock to watch the sunset. Well I immediately started praying for God to provide a way for me to do this with them. I have never climbed any of the rocks on the campus because I am afraid of heights. But with God's strength and a lot of help from everyone else I was able to climb the rock and watch the sunset with my baby girl. What a God moment that was for me on this day. We had so much fun embracing God's creation as He allowed the sun to set one more day. We shared in the laughter of so many different events on this rock. We made some great family memories.
But as the week unfolded and Campbell Medical team arrived God embraced Stephanie with some old friends and new friends as well. She got to finally meet our Meida who she has heard so much about and our dear Dr. Brenda who she learned so much from this week about Honduran medicine and how Dr. Brenda teaches the patients how to use natural items around them to help them with any ailments they may be concerned about. Stephanie was blessed to reunite with Matt and to meet and come to love Dr. Terry and his lovely wife Lori.
Stephanie made many new friends this past week. Campbell Medical School was very gracious to include her into their week. She has been waiting seven years to come back to Honduras and share her skills and gifts of medicine with the people who she so dearly loves with all her heart. Thank you Campbell Medical School for allowing Stephanie this opportunity.
