Team leader, Bill, who is also in charge of the pharmacy students while in Honduras brought all new students with the exception of Matt. I welcome all of you all and are grateful for your willingness to serve. How Kenicia in her evening devotion on the first night shared all these feelings going through her when Mr. Mike shared we were down two translators. Praise God for Pastor Ramon, Dr. David's father who got us to more translators within two hours. One came on Monday and both came on Tuesday. They were a huge blessing to our team. Which falls back on Kenicia's devotional out of Hebrews 11:1-3 about our faith in God's provision. Kenicia shared how she saw God's provision on the first day as the day unfolded and we all became flexible and did what we needed to do to make this day come to completion. We learned this day we can find joy in very little when we allow God to use us to His glory. We need to have that faith Matt preached on Sunday morning and use it in our daily lives. God is so good if we only allow Him to do it and not us.
These young people worked diligently keeping the prescriptions filled all week long. There was so many of them Bill allowed them to shadow the doctors and to help in Triage. It took all of us to get this task completed in the name of Jesus. Their faith in giving it their all was refreshing to see in young people. They never wavered one time. They kept their steady pace and completed everything expected of them this week and we are forever grateful.
