The Dedication Moment

We gathered around the house as Dudley shared from God's word about servant hood.  He shared how he watched each and everyone working for the Lord this past week to get the job done they were called to do.  We sang hymns of praises with the help of Bob and Ezekiel.  We enjoyed "Blessed Assurance" and   "Amazing Grace".  At the dedication for this team they do an amazing biblical presentation.  For the last three years this has been what they have done.  But this time it was a little different.  Team leader Steve asked everyone to go up to the North American Dorm and for all the Hondurans workers to sit down on the porch.  This time Steve included Mike and I to sit beside our Hondurans workers.  They proceeded to wash our feet and pray over each one of us.  What a humbling God moment this was for both Mike and me.  Thank you First Baptist Raleigh for committing to start the missionary home for many years to come.

After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples' feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him.
