The folks in these pictures are all gifts from God, yes even the one I call my Precious. By the way for those of you he is the one in the straw hat and glasses. Sitting with him on the top left picture is our precious Pastor Pedro who is not a full time staff member for Monte de Horeb but a as needed block mason. The gentleman left corner is our saving grace, Pastor Carlos. He has been working for the ministry for eight years and is truly our life line. He sometimes is my translator when we are out visiting a family about giving them a home. They have not ever heard of such a language I spew out of my mouth called Spanglish. He has learned my language well enough to take over and say what I am truly trying hard to say. He is our gift from God. Next to him his Cristobal who is hired as an as needed block mason as well. He is a work horse and works well with Mike and Pastor Carlos. The gentleman on the right corner is a member of Pastor Carlos' church and a good friend of Pastor Pedro and remembered we were building this home this week and stop by the first day to lend us a hand. He is another work horse as well. The lady in this picture is our Meida, translator, hygiene specialist and whatever we need for her to do girl. Meida works full time for Mike and Ginger and we are forever blessed for all her many many gifts and talents. She always builds relationships with whoever she meets. If we return to a community on another trip maybe a year later the community is always so glad to see our Meida walk up. We are so blessed to have her. Not pictured is Yobani who is a full time staff at Monte de Horeb Ministries and we pull him form ground maintenance to help build home when there is not a North American team or need an extra hand because there is a small number of North Americans. Yobani has become quiet the construction guy in the last year. He learns fast and is a very quiet and serene kind of guy. You do not know he is around until you hear his contagious laughter once in a while. Monte de Horeb Ministries is very blessed to have these wonderful people serving beside them. Thank you God for this amazing provision.
