The next day we head out to the project with a special meal for all twenty five plus men and children. They got blessed with a tilapia plate fresh from Monte de Horeb. We were cleaning out the pond getting ready to start another harvest and decided to bless these hard working men with a nice meal.
After lunch Pastor Carlos goes out into the center of the mango trees and looked up at his captive audience and said, "Now that you have had your physical meal I would like to share some spiritual food with you. Pastor Carlos cannot ever to a ten minute devotional but he did an amazing job and kept each and every man's attention while he shared the gospel. His "sermon" was basically sharing Jesus with these people for the first time in a way they could understand and he touched on some personal items men of Honduras may think is okay for them to live out and still go to heaven one day. So at the end of his 'sermon" he said it is simple as this either you choose to live your life for Jesus Christ and spend eternity with Him or you choose the world and go straight to hell. Pastor Carlos said this is your choice and not any one can make this decision for you but you, not "Marie" only the blood of Jesus will keep you all from going to hell. He left them with that not knowing how the rest of the project will pain out. Well those men got out there and worked even harder and thanked Pastor Carlos for sharing the gospel with them. They were taking every word Pastor Carlos in like a sponge. The harvest is ripe!!!
