Bloque 101

After the four corners were completed we gathered Mrs. Virgina and her family around the first block while we all connected by touching each other and praying over her home.
With the many new team members this year, we had a lesson in Bloque 101.  Egla, Pastor G, Pastor Carlos and Pastor Hector worked with the young people in training them the Honduran way of laying the block.  By lunch time the fourth course was up all the way around.  These young people worked very hard.  Scott and Ron were in charge of cutting the blocks.  Ron was able to put his Spanish in to practice when Pastor G asked for a particular measurement in Espanol.  Good job Ron.  We are proud of how you have improved with your Espanol.  As the morning progressed the team connected into smaller groups working as a team.  It was interesting to watch how this was carried out for the duration of the week.  They each found their niche in their small group and worked hard to accomplish their task.  Pastor Brian asked if they could go play with the children after the fifth course in the afternoon.  Of course building relationships is more important than building the home.  The home will get built.  If you miss the chance to bond with these beautiful children you may never get the chance again.  Thank you young people and adults for taking time for the little ones.

"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, as I have loved you, that you also love one another.  By this all will know that you are MY disciples, if you have love for one another."
John 13:34, 35
