Time of Praising the Lord and Preparing for the First Day

The team arrived promptly at 8:00 am at Lajero Blanco, Marcovia to set up for three days of medical treatment.  They gathered with the church family who were there to assist them.  We opened up with introducing each team member and then in turn Pastor Pedro introduced his church family.  His lovely wife Maria was right by his side. Team member Scott lead the group in a morning devotion and we opened up in prayer done by team member Jimmy.    The church family had arrived earlier the first morning to clean and prepare the church for the medical clinic.  The team had an ideal situation here where each doctor had their own office, (Sunday School classrooms), to check each patient.  The pharmacy was set up on the stage of the sanctuary inside the church.  This medical team was set up and ready to go within an hour.  Amazing when two different groups of people who do not speak the same language come together and pull off such a task as this.  It took hard work on both groups to be ready to go within an hour.  I sat back watching in awe of how beautiful it all came together.  I would like to give our Lord and Savior all the glory for this.  It was obviously a prayer ordained morning.

"Being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith and one baptism."

Ephesians 4:3-5
