Worshiping One God

On Sunday morning we arrived for an awesome time of worship.  The group led the church in several hymns. There was testimonies done by Laura and Lee.  Lee carried his testimony a bit further which was one of the most humbling acts I have ever experienced here in Honduras.  Lee has a medical condition and one of the problems is he may loose his vision.  The day before Lee was having trouble with this particular eye and Lee asked if Pastor Pedro would please pray for his eye, for complete healing.  Pastor Pedro said he was honored and privileged to be able to pray for Lee. Words truly cannot express the beauty of that moment
Jimmy got up and shared from Mark 5 about the demon possessed man.  This demon possessed man could see the presence of Jesus and Jimmy's question to all of us and himself was "do we see Jesus and know Jesus the Son of God for who he is?"  The demon possessed man did. We are not talking head knowledge here.  But do we personally know him as our Lord and Savior who died on the cross for our sins.  Sins he never once committed.  But MY SINS, do I know him?
Jimmy shared one thought  it does not matter about our past because God can use us right where we are right now in our lives.  We all have a story to tell.  Let's take us where we are and tell others about the precious love of Jesus Christ.  Someone somewhere took the time to share Jesus with you and me.  We need to in turn share this beautiful gift with the world we live in.

"Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you."
Mark 5:19
