Servant's Hearts

Each morning and evening we all gathered into the multi purpose building for breakfast and dinner.  One evening we got very blessed because it was Fernando's birthday.  So the team go to enjoy a delicious pineapple cake along with our staff.  One morning the four  young men on our team cooked up a nice buffet of eggs, pancakes and fresh Honduran fruit. The evening before Steven, team leader ask what they wanted for breakfast, cereal or hot breakfast.  Well everyone was saying we don't care or whatever.  But then all of a sudden Mason and Logan spoke up and said we will cook breakfast for the team.  Logan, Mason and Colby got up at 4:30 that morning to prepare a scrumptious breakfast for their fellow teammates. They cleaned the dishes as they were cooking exactly how Mr. Mike had asked them to do. Those pancakes were just how Rudy liked them, thin and crispy.  Actually they almost looked like a Honduran pancake.  Great job Mason.  Logan fixed the eggs just like I like them very fluffy and soft, not greasy at all.  He said his secret was he put milk into the egg mixture.  This explained why they were so delicious.  Colby quietly kept the dishes washed up for his friends as they cooked.  Kyle came later to help continue making the pancakes for Mason so Mason could eat his breakfast.  The day they made breakfast and got up at 4:30 was the same day they put the floor down later that day.  These young people worked hard for the Lord on the fourth day of their project.  Great job young people setting the example for all of us by serving our Lord  generously and with a grateful heart. Of course the adults Mr. Robert, Charlie, Melanie and Michelle were cooking throughout the week but it was a blessing when our young men stepped up to the plate and did their part as well.
