Thank You Jason Stutts

This week could not have happened if Jason Stutts had not come to Honduras about four years ago.  Jason came down with Mike and my church youth group.  Jason sat the example for all his peers with his work ethics, his kindness, his genuineness and his love for the Honduran people.  He and I  talked sometimes in the evening waiting for devotions to start about life and especially about how special the Honduran people are with what little they have.  Jason experienced some of the same feelings his week serving his Lord in Honduras just like this team did.  Jason shared and ask me to pray for him as he goes back to the states and try to live out the beauty of Honduras.  Jason tried really hard to do just that.  But Jason was taken from us way too soon last May of 2018 to go be with his Lord.  But Jason left behind a legacy of his love for this country.  He went home from Honduras sharing with his family how much he loved the people of Honduras.  His parents shared with me how they would love to carry out Jason love for Honduras by building a home in his memory.  With tears of gratitude I said most certainly and we can do it the first of the year.  Jason's parents were very pleased to be able to do this not only for Jason but also for themselves and others as well.  Thank you so much Stutts family for giving us the privilege of continuing Jason love for Honduras in providing Marvin, Marixa, Eduardo, Stefany and Loany a home.  Also Marvin came to Christ during this week all because one young man came to Honduras four years ago and fell in love with the people and the simplicity of their culture.  Mount Olive Baptist Church says thank you as well for the privilege to be apart of a very special time for your family.
