The team was able to two days of VBS with the leadership of high school graduate Keely and return friend, Sandy.
Meida started VBS out singing songs while waiting for the children to arrive to the service. We are grateful to have Meida and her gift of children and leading them in music and praise unto our Lord.
Keely shared the story of Joseph and his coats of many colors. Keely and Sandy helped the children make a hand puppet of Joseph wearing his coat of many colors. There was quiet the activity and some of the other team members came along to help. Pastor Robert enjoyed himself assisting the children in making their puppets. The children were extremely proud of their new friend, Joseph as they shared it with each other and the North Americans.
On the last day of VBS Sandy shared the plan of salvation and the children with the help of the adults were able to make a salvation bracelet. As they made the bracelets Sandy with the help of Meida explained what each color on the bracelet meant.
These two days were amazing in they both related to colors in their bible stories. Thank you ladies for taking the time to share God's Word with these lovely and beautiful children of Honduras.
