Welcome Back Floyd's Creek Baptist Church

Gregg, team leader has faithfully been coming to Honduras since 1999.  He has brought teams large and small each year to serve the Lord here in Choluteca, Honduras.  This year God led him with a small team but powerful in the Spirit.  They came knowing there work was cut out for them.  But upon arriving to their job site on that Thursday morning God once again never fails.  God sent Gregg and team with a lot of willing neighbors and church members from yet another church to help Hilda get her home she so desperately needed.

Hilda is a single mom with some type of disability mentally and life is a challenge for her and her three children.  They have been living with a church member until Mike and I arrived a while back to let her know God was going to build her a new home.  Hilda age 29 and her three children Cynthia, age 12, Andres age 10 and Osisis age 13 in the community called Colonia San Pablo Ciudad Nuevo are going to be blessed after the five day construction team is finished.  Her father and the pastor of the church we served this week, Pastor Soriano was so grateful his daughter is finally getting a place she can call home where at night she will be safe and dry.  He will be able to rest himself knowing she has a little more security in her life. As Keely shared her devotion on the first night about her concerns for coming to Honduras and how a verse out of Deuteronomy calmed her in preparation for coming to Honduras I can only think of Hilda waiting for God's faithfulness and love for her to provide her and her family a home.  Our God is so much bigger than we ever give Him credit for.  He will provide all our needs if we only allow Him into our lives and read His Word as Keely shared during her devotional.  By the way our Keely is a young adult who completed  high school this.  We can always learn from our young people if we also listen and give them a chance.

We thank team member Mark who prayed the prayer of dedication over the first block laid on this special day for Hilda and her children. Mark gave this block and the other blocks to come up to God and gave God all the praise and honor for this home and His provision.  All God's people said AMEN!!!
